Changes in International Cricket Structure
A proposal has been passed today on Saturday to bring
changes in international cricket structure, administration and financing. In Singapore, a council or ICC meeting in Singapore voted in
favor of the resolution passed by voting, in which 8 full member countries
including Bangladesh. Sri Lanka and Pakistan abstained from voting.Several amendments were made in a meeting in Dubai last
month after a major controversy over the introduction of three influential
members of the ICC India Australia and England.
Following this proposal will lead to major changes in the
ICC's administrative activities, sports schedules and economic management. The ICC's revised proposal has passed, there is no two-level
test cricket playing. Initially, the Bangladesh Cricket Board made an objection
to this issue.
It is said that among the ICC members, the next
Intercontinental Cup winner will get the chance to play Test cricket with the
country's lowest ranking to win the Test status if the winner.
However, the possibility of losing the status of the current test statuses is
not recommended.
We will play the games and we had. Apart from this, Pakistan is also contributing to the cricket history to launch Pakistan Super League (PSL), where players around the world join to promote T20 cricket. Click the Link To watch PSL Live Cricket 2018.
Jalal Yunus, chairman of BCB Media Division
According to the ICC decision, the schedule will be
finalized from now on, on the basis of a bilateral agreement between the two
member countries. The futures tour program or the FTP will ensure the agreement
between themselves, until 2023.
Bangladesh Cricket Board or BCB Media Division chairman
Jalal Yunus said, Bangladesh will not be deprived of any play due to this
change.Mr. Yunus said that the issue of Bangladesh's main concerns
about the changes in ICC structure, the uncertainty of the two-stage test
cricket and the sporting index, has been resolved in the last meeting, which is
why the BCB voted for this proposal.Cricket commentator Shamim Ashraf Choudhury also said that
he did not see the cause of any anxiety to play in the bilateral treaty.Since several countries have spported Bangladesh and
Zimbabwe, I do not think that if they play on the basis of bilateral
agreements, Bangladesh will be excluded.
Shamim Ashraf Chowdhury, Cricket commentator
"Whenever the FTP comes under the supervision of the
ICC, there is a sense of equality among all the countries. Since several
countries have supported Bangladesh and Zimbabwe, I do not think Bangladesh
will be dropped if they play on the basis of bilateral agreements."
Initially, this reform proposal was said to be more
restrictive in the ICC's control over India, England and Australia, which was
largely omitted from the amended proposal. However, it has been suggested that the three members of the
three countries will be in the top three positions in the three years from the
beginning of July and within two years of the interim period, and Chairman of
Indian Cricket Board N Srinivasan will be the President. However, members of
any country can stand for president position.According to the proposal, a test cricket fund will also be
constituted for Test nations, which means that other countries, except India,
England and Australia, will be able to get it.But in the context of economic reform, each country is said
to be financially recognized as its contribution. Although it has been
emphasized that no country will be affected by this change.Commentator Shamim Ashraf Chowdhury says,
"These things
are being said to keep other parties happy, but in this case, more attention is
needed."
In the Singapore meeting, eight of the ten full member
countries of the country voted for the proposal. Pakistan and Sri Lanka were
barred from voting They said they needed more time to consider this proposal.
